About Liv

Founder • Lead Instructor • Strength & Mobility Coach

I’ve been working in the health and fitness field for over 20 years, and LivFitness has been part of my life since 2009. What started as a small local training space has grown into a wellness community centered around strength, mobility, consistency, and connection.

My goal has always been simple: help people feel stronger, healthier, more confident, and more supported in everyday life.

How It Started

My journey began at the Quincy YMCA, where I had the opportunity to learn under Dr. Wayne Westcott, a nationally recognized exercise scientist and professor at Quincy College. Being exposed early on to evidence-based fitness research helped shape the way I approach training today.

I became a certified personal trainer through the National Strength and Conditioning Association in 2004 and have continued to stay current through ongoing education in fitness, nutrition, mobility, and wellness.

Before LivFitness fully became what it is today, I co-owned a local Quincy business called Zamforia with my brother Jonathan. While building that business, I began training clients inside the storefront space because I couldn’t let go of my passion for helping people through movement and fitness. Over time, the training side naturally grew into LivFitness.

As the community expanded, I shifted from individual training into small-group strength training to create an experience that was both highly supportive and more accessible to people of different fitness levels.

Why LivFitness Exists

I believe fitness should help people live better - not feel intimidated, punished, or overwhelmed.

At LivFitness, I focus on helping clients build real-world strength, mobility, balance, and consistency through approachable small-group training. The environment is welcoming, down-to-earth, and designed to help people feel comfortable showing up exactly as they are.

I love strength training and strongly believe it is one of the most important things we can do for long-term health, muscle preservation, bone density, injury prevention, and independence as we age.

But I also believe wellness is bigger than lifting weights alone.

That’s why LivFitness evolved into a more complete approach that includes mobility, cardio, recovery, mindfulness, nutrition support, and community connection.

Mind. Body. Planet.

This philosophy has become the foundation of everything I do.

I believe how you move your body, how you fuel your body, how you guide your mind, and how you care for the world around you are all interconnected.

Over the years, I’ve continued expanding my education in mental health, plant-based nutrition, wellness, and sustainable living practices because I believe health is influenced by far more than exercise alone.

I earned a master’s degree in mental health counseling from Suffolk University and worked as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor for many years before fully dedicating myself to growing LivFitness. Although my license is no longer active, that background continues to deeply shape the way I work with clients and build community.

I understand that behavior change, stress, confidence, consistency, and emotional well-being all play a major role in long-term health. My approach is never about perfection or pressure - t’s about helping people create sustainable habits and a healthier rhythm for real life.

Eagle Eye Yoga

In 2023, recognizing how valuable yoga, mobility, mindfulness, and recovery practices were for overall wellness, I expanded the vision by creating Eagle Eye Yoga.

The integration of LivFitness and Eagle Eye Yoga allows clients to combine strength training with yoga, mobility, restorative practices, sound baths, and seasonal wellness experiences.

The synergy between strength and yoga has been incredibly powerful for our community. Strength training supports muscle, bone density, and physical resilience, while yoga supports flexibility, mobility, nervous system regulation, recovery, and mental well-being.

Together, they create a more balanced and sustainable approach to wellness.

My Promise

I care deeply about creating a supportive community where people feel encouraged, challenged appropriately, and welcomed without judgment.

Whether someone is brand new to exercise or has trained for years, my goal is to help them build strength, confidence, awareness, and habits that positively impact their daily life.

LivFitness and Eagle Eye Yoga were built right here in Quincy, where I grew up and continue to raise my family. Supporting the health and wellness of this community means a great deal to me, and I feel grateful every day to do work that genuinely aligns with my values and purpose.

Thank you for being here and for being part of this community.

❤️💪😊
